Altitude Sports and Entertainment made some shifts during the off season.  Check out the new faces and roles here.  Thank you to Mike Haynes for everything throughout his many, many years with the team.  It will be very different not having him around this season.

Blake Comeau has signed with the Stars, but that certainly (and unfortunately) does not make the memory of this pass go away.

Just after we recorded this show the Avalanche announced why us Avalanche fans are unable to acquire nice things.  Varly’s out for the season and Erik Johnson out for six weeks.

We’re pretty sure emergency back up goaltender Scott Foster woke up on March 29 not fully expecting to be the first star of the Blackhawks/Jets game that night, but that’s exactly what happened.  What a cool story.

February 8: Brayden Schenn asked Gabriel Landeskog to dance prior to the opening face off in St. Louis so they did what hockey players do and they danced.

Starting(?) goaltender Jonathan Bernier was named the NHL’s third star for the month of January.  It was a great stretch of play for him and the team.  A well deserved honor.

Nathan MacKinnon scored the first goal of the All-Star game.  That was fun.

The accolades keep coming for Nathan MacKinnon this season.  He was named the NHL’s first star for the week ending on January 21.
