What to Wear? We Have a Winner

The votes are in and we have a winner.  This is the jersey I’ll be wearing to Adam Foote’s jersey retirement tonight.

The race was close for a while.  The fans went with this jersey while the jersey collectors wanted me to go with the 2010-2011 game worn jersey.  In the end though, the jersey above ended up with about half the votes.  It was a decisive victory.

This jersey is a size 60 retail player cut and it is HUGE.  It still fits me pretty well though.  I’m looking forward to wearing it.

A big thank you for those of you that helped me with my decision.

What to Wear?

Just wondering if you fine folks would help me out with something.  I have four white Adam Foote jerseys in my collection and I’m having a tough time deciding which one to wear to the game Saturday night.  Would you take just a few moments to look over the options and help me with this monumental decision?  Here are the choices, in no particular order.

One, a 2000-2001 retail authentic jersey which includes the alternate captain’s “A” and the 2001 all-star game patch.

The audio quality of this show, as James explains in the intro, isn’t what we or you are used to on The AHP, but it was the best we could do and it’s way better than nothing.

Bad news and good news AHP fans…

James and I recorded a podcast this weekend.  Everything seemed like it was cool and we had a great show for you guys.  James went to edit the show and the small sample of what’s attached is what the entire podcast sounded like.  It’s not awful, but it was definitely not good enough for us to post the whole show.  We take pride in the content as well as the sound quality of our podcast and don’t want to compromise either if it’s at all possible.  We apologize for not having a full show for you.  There’s not a whole lot that we can do about that right now with many other important things going on in our lives.  We will record another full show for you here in the near future.  Thanks for your patience with that.

On the flip side, just before we recorded our show, James and I were asked to be guests on another NHL podcast.  Jeff Ponder from The Bash Brothers Podcast recorded a segment with us that he posted here, so please give it a listen.  We go on at the one hour and two minute mark an talk Avs hockey for about 25 minutes.
