Kyle Keefe’s face (reflected on the glass as the door to the ice closes) is all of our faces as the Matt Duchene trade unfolded during the game on November 5th.

Erik Johnson did his best to be diplomatic following the Duchene trade.  This interview following the game was the best EJ could do.

Gabriel Landeskog did that hockey against the Washington Capitals on November 16 and recorded his first career hat trick.  Check out the highlights from that game here.

We all know by know that a busy Varly is generally a better Varly.  He was REALLY busy against the Hurricanes on November 2 when he recorded 57 saves.

Jay is hoping Nathan MacKinnon gets his confidence back soon after listening to AvsCast Episode #24.  Shout out to Ryan and Ron for the shout out.

Six former Avalanche players were named to the NHL’s top 100 players as the league celebrates their 100th anniversary.  The most notable players were Hall of Famers Joe Sakic, Patrick Roy, and Peter Forsberg.

Mikko Rantanen made it rain (hats) at Pepsi Center on February 6.  This was his first career hat trick and hopefully the first of many more.
