Really liked the latest podcast Jay. Don’t think I have ever heard you so negative, but compared to my negativity, you’re still sunbeams and rainbows!

I am more grumpy than usual, because I coughed up $130 to follow the Avs on GCL (finally available for UK) and I find myself watching every game (bar one) and getting my hopes up, only to have them dashed.

Anyway, love the pod and you and Tapeleg have a fun chemistry together.

Jay, that is awesome. Reading some of your posts, though, tells me that you know far too much about jerseys than is probably healthy!

I think the “dump-and-watch” is the system du jour, not simply a tactical decision by the guy with the puck. They aren’t having any success carrying the puck in, that’s for sure.

James and Dario…Thanks for the research, but these jerseys, based on how they tagged, were worn prior to the Edge years which began during the 2007-2008 season. The newer jerseys are tighter/have a different cut and have jock tags, like this Bruno from the 07-08 season:

These three jerseys could have been worn anywhere between the switch to Reebok and when they implemented the Edges so that puts them somewhere during the 2005-2006 or 2006-2007 seasons. Translation: they had been sitting around for a bit before they were put on sale.

Yep, last year’s training camp number 56 was worn my ATO Wacey Hamilton and 16 was worn my Justin Mercier.

I think that 56 is Wacey Hamilton. That’s what is listed on the training camp roster. I only know this because I got a #56 recently and looked it up.
