This show features yet another joint podcast with James “Tapeleg” Gralian from “The Rink Podcast.” We talk about the 2009-2010 Colorado Avalanche season, Alex Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby, and pretty much everything else in between, including scrotal contusions. Those topics and, as always, much more coming up in episode #54 of The Avs Hockey Podcast. Thanks again for another great AHP season Avalanche fans!

i have to say, you need to do these joint podcasts as much as possible, because this was your best podcast yet. very entertaining. if you can swing it, i say get a full time right hand man, having 2 points of view and a back and forth discussion was great. keep up the good work! Go Avs! from Omaha, NE where we have a banner of Stastny hanging in the Civic Auditorium where he played for the Lancers in the USHL

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe someday Tapeleg will live close enough so we can do shows together all the time. That would be my ideal situation. I don’t like talking by myself all the time. I’ve gotten a lot more positive feedback from this show too. Happy you guys get to know me more in this podcast. This episode is way more me than my show ever is. I’m very picky as far as who I collaborate with too. Tapeleg is perfect!
And a lot of my wife’s family lives just outside of Council Bluffs, so I know that area pretty well and have been out there many, many times. We need to make our way back out to Brewburger’s as soon as we can too. That place rules. I had no idea that Stastny played so well while he was there. Very cool.
Thanks for listening and thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it!

i should be more specific, it’s not a banner in the “banner in the rafters” sense. they have banners with all the players from the Lancers who are playing in the NHL (i can’t remember who the other players are, there are about 5 of them) i’m more of a UNO Maverick fan than a Lancer fan

Thanks for clarifying. So if you know UNO, you know Brewburger’s. I’m happy I don’t live closer to that place in a way. I would be eating there way too much, which, in turn, wouldn’t be good for me at all. I want to be around to watch Avalanche hockey for many years to come!
Thanks again for commenting. Always good to get feedback.
